Strength and Core Training
This class will help our athletes get stronger through resistance training. Current research highlights all the benefits of strength training even at a young age, which include; muscular development, muscular endurance, stability, helping to reduce chance of injury, and an improvement in psychological wellbeing. Our coaches use scientific backed training to program for daily functional movement and sport performance. We prioritize proper technique and our classes are age appropriate- specifically designed with progressions as the athlete gets older.
Building out core strength is essential to how we move everyday. We want our muscles to work in harmony and the core is the center of it all. In this class we will strengthen our core, while improving our stability, posture, and balance. With a stronger core, we will be more efficient in our movements, therefore preventing injury and improving performance.
